Tunnel Form is a system that enables the casting of walls and slabs in one operation, following a daily cycle. This rapid system significantly reduces construction durations compared to conventional methods.
Tunnel Form System brings speed, quality, and accuracy to concrete construction, providing substantial savings in finishing and M&E works. Hi-tech technologies for steel formwork production make tunnel forms strong and durable.
The system creates efficient load-bearing structures, which are recognized as the most earthquake-resistant.
Longest Lifetime: Hi-tech steel system provides durability and strength. The service life of the TRTF Classic Tunnel Form System is good for 500 reuses as long as the system is used properly in accordance with instructions.
Surface Quality: Steel panel surface provides a smooth concrete finish. Together with dimensional accuracy, these features of the system eliminate finishing works like cement plastering.
Work Safety: Tunnel Form System comes with the highest jobsite safety due to full perimeter platform systems.
All panels forming the TRTF Classic Tunnel Formwork System are made of sheet metal that will be exposed to concrete, which is 3mm thick THRU type 3244 (S275) steel produced by Ereğli Iron and Steel Factories Co. Inc.
The tunnel formwork is manufactured to withstand a resistance of 80 kN/m² of concrete pressure. Support profiles such as box profiles (50x60x2 mm) and U profiles (30x60x4 mm) placed on the back surfaces of the panels provide this resistance.
The TRTF Classic Tunnel Formwork System is 10% lighter than MKTF Tunnel Formwork Systems. Due to its lightness, it is easier and quicker to move the molds to the next stage after casting.
At least 70% of all components of the TRTF Classic Tunnel Formwork System can be used even in projects where the floor height remains unchanged. It is a system that can be easily adapted to different projects with minimal cost.
Almost all (approximately 90%) of the connection elements belonging to the TRTF Classic Tunnel System are made of standard materials. Since the connection elements are standard products, their procurement is easy and cost-effective when needed over time.
